Installation
Brake pads are always replaced as a full axle set. Check the disc condition and thickness at the same time, clean and lightly lubricate the pad contact points, and wind the caliper piston back carefully. Some cars need the electric parking brake put into service mode before rear pads can be changed. Bed the new pads in with a few gentle stops. If you are unsure, have a qualified technician fit them.
