Audi Q4 e-tron Pressure Switch – Also fits CUPRA Born, Tavascan
This Febi pressure switch fits the Audi Q4 e-tron, Audi Q4 Sportback e-tron, CUPRA Born and other electric models. It monitors the refrigerant pressure in the air conditioning circuit and tells the control unit when to run or stop the compressor and fan.
On an electric car the air conditioning circuit often handles battery cooling as well as cabin comfort, so a faulty pressure switch can affect more than just cold air. A failed switch can stop the compressor from running, cause poor cooling, set a fault code or make the cooling fan run at the wrong times. A new switch restores accurate pressure readings so the system can run as designed.
The Febi part number is 171263.
