Kia e-Niro, Soul EV & Hyundai Kona Electric Rear Shock Absorber Protection Kit
This protection kit fits the rear shock absorbers on the Kia e-Niro and Soul EV from 2019 and the first-generation Hyundai Kona Electric. It contains the bump stop and dust cover that protect the shock absorber rod and soften full compression over large bumps. It fits the rear left or rear right.
Replace the kit if the dust cover is split or missing, or if the bump stop has crumbled or gone hard. A damaged cover lets dirt and water reach the shock absorber rod and seal, which shortens the life of the shock absorber. A worn bump stop lets the suspension bottom out with a harsh knock.
Choose Febi 186507 or Blue Print ADBP840058 from the options. Both are made by the bilstein group to the same specification and replace part numbers 55326-F2000 and 55370-G2000.

Installation
Professional installation recommended. The shock absorber is removed, the old bump stop and cover are taken off the rod and the new kit is slid into place. It is usually fitted with new shock absorbers.
