Great product. Fits perfectly. Looks good and matches the front ones already fitted by Tesla. Excellent support, as I made stupid mistakes when fitting them. they even phoned me within minutes of sending a “contact us” enquiry. Cannot fault the service received.

The Model S has 700mm driver blades and a 450mm blade. The Model S has two different sizes of blades: 700mm for the driver side and 450mm for the passenger side. Previously, the driver side used the AM28U blade. On the other hand, the passenger side had either the AM18U or AM17U blade, depending on whether it was 430mm. The AM series blades are discontinued an replaced with the AP series.

Replacing Windscreen Windscreen Wipers

You should ideally replace your windscreen wipers once a year for optimum performance. We recommend doing it after the summer, as the heat can damaged the blades.

Howe To Replace the Windscreen Wipers On The Tesla Model S:

Before you start. The Model S wiper arms DO NOT lift far away from the screen and you should not force them to fare off the screen. Do not left the arm slam onto the glass over wise you may crack your screen.

  1. Shift into Park and turn off the wipers.
  2. Touch ‘Controls’ > ‘Service’ > ‘Wiper Service Mode’ > ‘ON’ to move the wipers to the service position.
  3. Raise the wiper arm slightly to reach the wiper blade, but be careful as it won’t stay up on its own. Do not lift a wiper arm beyond its intended position.
  4. Put a sponge or towel under the wiper arm to prevent damage to the windshield if it moves down.
  5. Hold the wiper arm and press the locking tab while sliding the blade down the arm.
  6. Align the new blade on the wiper arm and slide it toward the hooked end of the arm until it locks into place.
  7. Slowly lower the wiper blade against the windshield.
  8. Turn Wiper Service Mode off to return the wipers to their normal position.
