Hyundai Ioniq 5, Kona Electric, Ioniq Electric & Kia e-Niro, Niro EV, Soul EV Air Conditioning Pressure Switch
This pressure switch monitors the refrigerant pressure in the air conditioning system of the Hyundai Ioniq 5, Kona Electric and Ioniq Electric and the Kia e-Niro, Niro EV and Soul EV (2014 to 2019). It has an aluminium body, three connections and a 3/8 inch 24 UNF thread.
The switch tells the control unit when the pressure is too high or too low so the compressor can be switched off before damage occurs. Replace it if the air conditioning will not switch on even though the system is correctly filled, if it cuts in and out, or if a fault code points to the pressure switch.
