This CV boot kit fits the transmission side of the front drive shaft, on the tripod joint, left or right. The thermoplastic boot is 120 mm long, with 31 mm and 86 mm inner diameters, and the kit includes a 90 g bag of drive shaft grease.
A split CV boot lets grease out and dirt in, which quickly wears the joint. Replacing the boot early saves fitting a whole drive shaft later. Check the outer boot on the same shaft at the same time.
