Renault Fluence Z.E. Steering Rack Boot Kit with Clamps
This steering boot kit fits either end of the steering rack on the Renault Fluence Z.E. It contains the 206 mm thermoplastic boot and two stainless steel single-ear clamps, so you have everything needed to reseal one end of the rack.
The boot keeps water and grit out of the rack and the inner tie rod joint. Once it splits, dirt gets in and the joint wears, leading to knocks, play in the steering and an MOT failure. Replace a boot as soon as you see a tear.
This is Febi 101695, made by the bilstein group. It replaces Renault part number 48 20 367 15R. The boot is 12 mm across at the small end and 54 mm at the large end. The clamps are Febi 38755 (16 to 19.2 mm) and Febi 38763 (53.5 to 62 mm).
