EV Sensors FAQs
Which electric cars do you stock sensors for?
We stock ABS wheel speed sensors for the Tesla Model S, Model 3, Model X and Model Y, the BMW i3 and the Nissan Leaf, plus a coolant temperature sensor for the BMW i3 Range Extender. Each product page lists the exact models and years that part fits.
Are these genuine or aftermarket sensors?
They are quality aftermarket sensors from established brands, made to replace the original. Where we have it, the original part number is shown on the product page.
What does an ABS sensor do?
An ABS sensor reads how fast each wheel is turning. The car uses it for anti-lock braking and traction and stability control, so a faulty one can switch those systems off.
How do I know which sensor fits my car?
ABS sensors often differ between front and rear, and sometimes left and right. The easiest check is the part number on your old sensor, or contact us with your registration number.
What are the signs of a faulty sensor?
Usually a warning light or message on the dashboard, sometimes with a related system such as ABS or traction control switched off. A diagnostic scan will show which sensor has the fault.
