This brake pad wear indicator is the sensor wire that sits in the rear brake pad and warns you when the pads are worn. It fits the rear axle on either side and has a long 990 mm cable with a plug that clips into the car’s wiring loom.
As the pad wears down, the sensor tip touches the brake disc and breaks the circuit, which brings up the brake pad warning on the dashboard.
