This dust cover fits the rear shock absorber on the Volkswagen e-up!, e-load up!, SEAT Mii Electric and Skoda Citigo-e iV. It is 265 mm high and slides over the damper rod to keep dirt and water away from it.
A clean damper rod lets the seal at the top of the shock absorber do its job. When the cover splits or perishes, road grit sticks to the rod and wears the seal, and the damper starts to leak oil and lose its control. A new cover is cheap protection for the shock absorber.
