Alpine A290, Renault Megane & Scenic E-Tech Inner CV Boot Kit – Transmission Side
This CV boot kit fits the transmission side (inner joint) of the front drive shafts on the Alpine A290 from 2024, the Renault Megane E-Tech Electric from 2021 and the Renault Scenic E-Tech Electric from 2023. It fits the front left or front right shaft.
The boot keeps grease in and dirt out of the tripod joint. Once it splits, grease escapes, grit gets in and the joint soon wears. Replace it as soon as you see a tear or grease inside the wheel arch.
This is Febi 172898, made by the bilstein group. It replaces Renault part numbers 39 74 132 83R SK1 and 39 74 119 35R SK1. The kit holds a 105 mm thermoplastic boot for the tripod joint and a 90 g bag of Febi 02582 MOS2 grease.
