This jack shaft (also called an insert shaft or intermediate shaft) sits on the front drive unit of Dual Motor Tesla Model S and Model X. It transfers drive between the gearbox output and the half shaft on the front right side. Wear or spline damage can cause vibration, clicking or loss of drive on that corner.
This is a direct replacement for Tesla part number 1030632-00-A.
