Tesla Model Y Front Anti-Roll Bar – 31 mm
This 31 mm front anti-roll bar is a Febi 1004431 replacement for the original Tesla part on the Model Y and Model Y L. It links the left and right front suspension to limit body roll in corners and keep the car flat and stable.
An anti-roll bar rarely wears out on its own, but it can be bent by a heavy kerb strike or pothole, or damaged in a collision. A bent or damaged bar can make the car lean more to one side, pull under braking, or feel unsettled over bumps. It is also replaced during accident repair work on the front suspension.
The bar is listed for the Model Y, Model Y Dual Motor and Model Y L Dual Motor. One Model Y Dual Motor version is listed with a specific motor code, so check the notes in the fitment table.
Because the anti-roll bar connects both sides of the suspension, a bent bar also puts the drop links and bushes under constant strain, which leads to knocking noises and early wear. After fitting, a wheel alignment check is a sensible precaution if the car has had a heavy impact, as the same knock can disturb the steering and suspension settings.
