VW ID.4, ID.5, ID.7, Ford Capri & Explorer EV Front Brake Pads – For 358 mm Discs
These front brake pads replace the original pads on cars with the larger front brake package and 358 mm front discs. Each set covers both front wheels and carries ECE R90 approval.
Front pads on these cars are matched to the disc and caliper size. The 358 mm set goes with brake PR code 1LC or 1LN. Many ID.4, ID.5 and Ford models have 340 mm discs instead, listed separately. To check your size, measure across the face of your current front disc, look for the part number on the old disc or its box, or find the brake PR code on the vehicle data sticker in the service book or under the boot floor: PR 1LA is 330 mm, PR 1LB or 1LF is 340 mm and PR 1LC or 1LN is 358 mm.
You can also read the part number from the back of your old pads: 1EA 698 151 C, B, D or J means this set.

Installation
Professional installation recommended for best results. The electronic parking brake works on the rear axle only, so the front pads can be changed with normal tools. Fit new pads with new discs if the old discs are worn or corroded.

Should I replace the discs too?
