Kia e-Niro, Niro EV, Hyundai Kona Electric & Ioniq Electric Steering Rack Boot Kit
This steering rack boot kit fits the Kia e-Niro and Niro EV and the Hyundai Kona Electric (first and second generation) and Ioniq Electric. It covers the end of the steering rack on the left or right side and comes with the clamps needed to fit it.
Replace the boot as soon as it is split or loose. A damaged boot lets water and grit into the steering rack, which corrodes the rack and wears the inner tie rod joint. Catching a split boot early is far cheaper than replacing a steering rack. Boots are often damaged when tie rods are replaced, so it makes sense to fit a new one at the same time.
